The adult moths have grey wings, each with a variable complex pattern of black zizzag markings and blotches. The male moths have a wingspan of about 9 cms.

The female moths have a wingspan of about 13 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
