The adult moths of this species are brown with black spots and speckles, and have irregular white patches along the hind and outer margins of the forewings. The thorax and final abdominal segment are also white.

The species is found across south-east Asia, including:

  • Borneo,
  • Hong Kong,
  • Java,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
