The adult moths of this species have patchy grey wings, each with a white area along the costa. The head and the sides of the thorax are covered in long grey scales. The wingspan is about 6 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
