Ubida ramostriellus

The adults of this species have brown forewings each with several branching white stripes, including one prominent white stripe from base to mid-margin. The hindwings are dark to pale brown, with white fringes. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species is found in Asia, and in Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.

    The DNA evidence implies that the name is being applied to two slightly different species, one from the north and one from the south.
