The adult moth of this species has dark grey-brown forewings with vague streaks speckled with paler grey-brown. The hindwings are pale grey-brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:
The moths of this species are similar to those of Pedois amaurophanes, but the forewing patterns are subtly different.
