The adult moth of this species has grey-brown forewings, each with two dark spots, a dark-edged pale area by the thorax, and an indistinct pale median band separating a dark marginal half. The hindwings are pale grey-brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
