The adult moth of this species has streaky grey-brown forewings each with pale veins, and a few dark spots, particularly aound the margins. The hindwings are off-white shading to grey-brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 1.3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
