The adult moth of this species has grey forewings each with a number of dark markings including two black spots near the middle, and a marginal arc of black dots. The hindwings are off-white, shading to brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
