The adult moth of this species has brown forewings each with a faint pattern of curved dark edged pale lines. The hindwings are pale brown. The head is brown with white markings. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
