The adult moth of this species has pale grey or brown forewings each with variable dark markings, especially at the wingtips and along the hind margins. The hindwings are off-white. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
