The adult moths of this species are brown. with a curved jagged pale-edged black line across each forewing. The hindwings plain pale brown. The wingspan of the males is about 2 cms. The wingspan of the females is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
