The Caterpillars of this species have been found feeding on various trees in CASUARINACEAE, including

  • Slaty She-oak ( Allocasuarina muelleriana ), and
  • Droopy She-oak ( Allocasuarina verticillata ).

    The adult moths have a grey or brown pattern on each forewing, including dark spiky scalloped submarginal lines. The hindwings are pale grey or brown with a vague darker spot near the middle. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

    The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
