The adult moths of this species are brown, with a dark-edged pale spot near the wingtip, and a circular pale dark edged spot near the middle of each forewing. The hindwings each have two circular pale dark edged spots. There is also a variable vague pale submarginal patch on each wing. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species occurs in Australia in
