The forewings of the adult moth of this species are pale brown with indistict darker wavy bands. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The males and females are very similar, except the females have thread-like antennae, and the males have bipectinate antennae. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia,
