These adult moths vary in colour from brown to grey, and have a complex pattern of dark spots and zigzag lines on the wings. The males additionally have a white line along the costa of each forewing. The hindwings particularly have crenulate margins. The wingspan is abouut 4 cms.

This species occurs in north Queensland.
