The caterpillars of this species are thought to feed on phyllodinous Wattles such as :

  • Sickle Wattle ( Acacia falcata ), and
  • Golden Wattle ( Acacia pycnantha ).

    The adult moths are white, with a broad diffuse brown markings on the forewings. The hindwings are white, each having a complex broad black submarginal patch. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

    The species occurs in mallee habitats from the Eyre Peninsula through the Murray Mallee to western New South Wales. The adults fly during late April to early May.
