These Caterpillars are green with an indistinct yellow line along each side. They feed on the leaves of various Gum Trees ( MYRTACEAE ) including :

  • Sydney Red Gum ( Angophora costata ).


    The adult moths have brown and white forewings, and yellow hindwings which have a wide black margin. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

    Its range is from

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, to
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.

    It has an annual lifecycle and the adults fly in late summer and autumn.
