The adult moths of this species are pale brown, with a variable number of incomplete dark wavy lines across the wings. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.

    The genus Boarmia is probably incorrect for this species. This species and the species currently named Tephrosia exesaria should both be placed in the same new genus.
