Both sexes of adult moth have forewings that are ash to silvery grey sprinkled with black. The hindwings are brown at the margin fading to white at the base. Each forewing has a dark spot in the middle of it. The males also have a dark spot in the middle of each hindwing. The wingspan is about 5.4 cms.
These specimens were caught in South Australia.
