The Caterpillars of this species feed on the foliage of:

  • Gum Trees ( Eucalyptus, MYRTACEAE ).

    The adults are grey or fawn and orange, with with dark wiggly lines on the forewings, and a dark spot near the centre of each hindwing. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms. They are found over most of the non-tropical regions of Australia, including:

  • Queensland,
  • Victoria, and
  • Western Australia.
