The moth has speckled dark grey forewings, each with dark veins, and a dark line along the hind-margin. The hindwings are white, shading to grey-brown at the margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
