The adult moths of this species have variable patchy brown wings. The males have a dark kidney-shape mark on each forewing. The wingspan is about 5 cms.

The species is been found in south-east Asia, including

  • Borneo,
  • India,
  • New Guinea,

    and also in Australia in

  • Queensland.
