The adult moths of this species have pale grey forewings, with a satin sheen to them, with a pattern of black dots. The hindwings are yellow with black tips. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species occurs across Asia, including:

  • India,
  • Philippines,
  • Taiwan,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
