These adult moths have stippled brown forewings each with a pale area at the base. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in the arid regions of Australia in:

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
