The adult moths of this species have off-white forewings each with several dark brown markings near the middle, along the costa, the hind margin, and along the margin. The hindwings are off-white, darkening to pale brown at the wing-tips. The wingspan is about 1.2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
