The adult moths have fawn speckled forewings each with irregular variable dark patches. The hindwings are plain fawn. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in

  • New Zealand,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Australian Capital Territory.
