The adult moths have pale grey forewings, each with scattered orange-edged dark brown markings. The hindwings are off-white shading to brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Australian Capital Territory.
