The adult moths of this species have dark grey forewings sometimes with black or orange markings. The hindwings are pale grey. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been reported in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
