The adult moths have brown forewings each with a vague dark diagonal band across the middle. The hindwings are pale yellow shading to brown at the wing-tips. The wingspan is about 1.2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • South Australia.
