The adult moths of this species have pale brown forewings each with a dark central jagged streak, and sometimes broad dark veins or some dark spots along the costa. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been reported in

  • Queensland,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
