The adult moths of this species have pale yellow forewings, each with three dark brown bands: at the base, across the middle, and along the margin. The hindwings are pale brown, fading at the bases. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been reported in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • South Australia.
