The adult moths of this species are grey with a number of dark zigzag stripes across each wing. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.

    This species is thought to be the the same as Rhuma argyraspis, making Sterictopsis inconsequens only a junior synonym.
