Comostola leucomerata

The adult moths of this species are green with each hindwing having a large brown spot near the base. The wingspan is just under 2 cms.

This species occurs as various subspecies in rainforest in:

  • New Caledonia,
  • New Guinea,

    and also in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
