The adult moths of this species have forewings that are grey, each with dark marks on the margin by the wingtip and at the base. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
