The adult moths of this species are green with a rusty-red border to each wing. There is also a rusty=red dorsal line along the abdomen. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species occurs in the oriental tropics, including :

  • Borneo,
  • India,
  • Thailand,

    and in Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • Norfolk Island, and
  • New South Wales.
