The adult moths of this species have brown wings with wiggly rusty lines and scalloped margins. The forewings sometimes each have a pale patch in the middle. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • Western Australia.
