The adult moths of this species have brown forewings with various dark-edged white markings, and also a submarginal group of short parallel black bars. The hindwings are plain brown. The wingspan is about 1.3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
