The adult moths of this species have dark brown forewings, each with various markings, including a gold patch on the hind-margin near the base, and six or more narrow bands of iridescent silver spots. The hindwings are plain grey. The moths have a wingspan of about 1.2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
