These Caterpillars have been found on :

  • Red Ash ( Alphitonia excelsa, RHAMNACEAE ).

    The adult moth has a fringe of hairs around the edge of each wing. The forewings are shiny white, with a pair of gold chevrons on each wing, and a black dot on each wing tip. The wingspan of the moth is about 0.5 cms.

    The species has been found in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
