The Caterpillars of this species mine the leaves of various species of:

  • Gum Trees ( Eucalyptus, MYRTACEAE ).

    The adult moth has a fringe on the trailing edge of each wing. The fore wings have a striking pattern of brown and white. The hind wings are a uniform dark brown. Its wingspan is about 0.8 cm.
