The adult moths of this species have forewings that are pale brown with a scattering of black dots.

The hindwings are brown fading to white at the base. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species is found in :

  • Borneo,
  • India,
  • Malaysia,
  • Japan,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
