The adult male moths typically have rusty brown forewings each with some faint scroll markings, and two white flashes joined by white arc. The hindwings are plain brown. The wingspan of the male is about 8 cms. The male moths appear to have tripectinate antennae.

The adult female moths typically have grey forewings each with a faint irregular submarginal flash. The hindwings are plain grey. The wingspan of the female is about 10 cms. The female moths have thread-like antennae.

The species is found in

  • Western Australia, from about Kalbarri south to Wongan Hills.
