The adult moths of this species are greyish brown, with a bent white streak along each forewing. The females are similar to but greyer than the males. The male moths have a wingspan of about 2.5 cms. The female moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species is found in

  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
