The adult moth of this species has variable patchy brown forewings each with a small pale centred dark diamond shaped spot near the middle. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found across south-east Asia and the south Pacific, including :

  • India,
  • Singapore,

    as well as in Australia in:

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
