The adult moth of this species has forewings that are dark brown with a large variable white area at the base crossed by several black lines along the costa. The hindwings are cream with broad dark brown margins. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
