The adult moth of this species has areas of shades of brown delineated by dark zigzag lines all over, and has a particularly dark patch near the middle of the margin of each wing. The moth normally rests with the wings out flat, like many GEOMETRIDAE. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
