Elaphristis melanica

The adult moth has dark brown forewings each with a blue sheen and several small white spots. The hindwings are plain brown. The blue sheen fades in dead specimens. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
