The adult moth has brown forewings, each with a grey patch on the middle of the costa, and a pattern of incomplete black sinuous lines. The hindwings are off-white, shading to pale brown at the wingtips. The hindwings have smoothly angled margins. The undersides are off-white shading to grey at the wingtips. The wingspan of the males is about 2 cms. The wingspan of the females is about 2.7 cms.
