The adult moth of this species has a complex fawn pattern on the wings. The moths have a wing span of about 2 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
