The adult moth of this species has brown forewings crossed by wavy bands. The moths have yellow hindwings with a brown stripey patch by each tornus. The moths have a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species is found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
